In page 203 of my textbook “Essays on Philosophical and Educational fundamentals,” I explain to university studies the necessity of finding, truth, happiness, love, freedom, etc, subjects all philosophers try to study philosophically, but which very few manage to explain, in life. I tell them that it’s a very difficult concept to, define; for it’s a word that answers to a great variety of the interests of men and their most elevated aspirations. The attitude of man in the presence of the search for truth has always been an attitude of jealousy. Every man has his own concept and thence cometh the confusion and confrontations of religious, ethical and political values. The truth is defined as fidelity (ie loyalty) some 250 times in all the books of both the old and New Testaments. The lie and its fathers, the Devil, oppose the truth, Christ, and authentic Christianity’s biblical teachings, which define the truth. Once the truth is known, it leads us to happiness and true love, being free indeed. If the true concept of the truth is missed, and lies begin to control the mind and actions, we will come to a state of infidelity, chaos, misery and spiritual darkness. The truth shall make us free, and Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. The Catholic scholastic LIE. Copyright © 2000 - 2003,
