The Chronicler of the Indies, Gonzalo Fernandez De Oviedo, and the Discovery of America

Rafael Rodríguez Guillén

This book, published by Editorial San Antonio de Sevilla in 1990 for me, is a resumption of my unedited doctoral thesis of 800 pages, which can be acquired on Microfilm, in the University of Michigan, USA.  I describe the deeds which took place during the Discovery Of America at the arrival of the Spanish Catholic missionaries and wicked soldiers.  I show how the true history about the discovery has been falsified by the Catholic Church’s false history teachings, rewritten by the interests of the Vatican’s National Catholicism and the allies of the Spanish Empire, which came to America and destroyed the native’s cultures and robbed them for their gold treasures and precious metals.

Oviedo, the main chronicler of the Indies, is censured, and his 50 volumes are prohibited, including in the INDEX, for narrating the true historical deeds which took place when the Spaniards, who were lead by the Catholic missionaries and warlords commissioned by the Catholic kings and the immoral Pope Alexander VI, came to the Americas.  In 1985, we were able to read and know his censured chronicles.  I had the privilege to study them and to write my doctoral thesis with outstanding marks in the University Complutense of Madrid.
