To understand what the Catholic religion is and what the true Christian religion is, which are two completely different concepts, has been to me, a Catholic priest and Christian missionary and monsignor, the most difficult thing to comprehend in my long years dedicated to the evangelization and conversion of souls to Christianity. From the time I was ordained fifty years ago, it has been a continuous spiritual battle with myself – a continues biblical, theological, and historical investigation. After living through numerous experiences as I served the Catholic church, I began to notice that the history of the Christian church the first three centuries in which appears in the New Testament, and the history of the Catholic church, which appears only in pontifical documents, are completely different. To define Christianity is the easiest thing to understand and know. All one has to do is read the Holy Scriptures and find the Holy Ghost. With a sincere search for the truth, you will be able to distinguish that Christianity is “not” Catholicism. The teachings of Jesus are love, forgiveness, poverty, and sacrifice before a paganized and Catholic world.
