The
Diocese of San Diego Discriminates Against Latin American Priest
and Catholics

As a Catholic priest and monseñor, who is now retired,
in the Diocese of San Diego, where I have attended the Catholic
community in its parishes, I have also suffered the discrimnating and
despotism that the Diocese of San Diego and its parsons (vicars)
practice against Spanish-Americans. After years of not being able
to explain the conduct of these Anglo-Saxon priests to myself, and
annoting the existing differences between the education and Christianity
received and learned by Hispanics and their churches and the teachings
of these Anglo-Saxon churches, I have come to the following conclusions:
A) The Catholicism in the San Diego Diocese, in its pastoral programs,
mostly toward Catholics of Hispanic origin, is a progamtic philosophy,
that is, an American materialistic philosophy with very little spiritual
values, which are contrary to what we learned from the Tridentine
Council.
B) The Ecclesiastical Hierarchy, bishops, chancellors, parsons,
administrators and office personal, etc, obey a capitalist
administration and business organization more than a Christian
organization of love, poverty and respect towards our Catholic
traditions.
C) The percentage of Hispanics abandoning Catholicism to become
evangelists or, as they say, more Christian, is of such magnitude, that
I have accumulated several statistics’ showing that this is the
Diocese from which the majority of members are separating, including
priests, friars, and nuns who are frustrated and are seeking Christ in
truth.
