7 Reasons Why You Should Trust In God

In this article, I share with you 7 reasons why you should trust in God to help you make more progress in life. Most people trust in someone or something. Some people trust in themselves, other people, various things, and many of us trust in God.

To trust is to believe or have confidence in something or someone for reasons based on the thing’s or individual’s ability, strength, truth, reliability, character, or reputation.

As Christians, there are many reasons why we trust in God. The Bible tells us a great deal about God, who he is, and his love for us. It also gives us many reasons why we should trust God and several examples of people who placed their trust in God, including Noah, Daniel, and Jesus.

The reasons we should trust God are supported by Bible verses. You can meditate on these scripts using one a day or preferably learn them so you can use them in your times of need.

1.God loves us unconditionally

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

2. God is faithful

“God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” (1 Corinthian 10:13)

3. We can trust in God for guidance

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

4. God helps us succeed

“Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.” (Psalm 37:4-5)

5. God will keep us in peace

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.” (Isaiah 26:3-4)

6.     God is our strength and salvation

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2)

7.     God is our deliverer

“Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” (Psalm 50:15)
